After nearly two years of writing, refining, and (at times) almost giving up, I’m beyond excited to finally share my book, Leadership in the Age of AI: A Handbook of Daily Cybersecurity Leadership Nuggets. It’s now available on Amazon!

This book isn’t just about AI in cybersecurity—it’s about what comes next. As AI takes over more of our security operations, the real challenge for cybersecurity leaders isn’t just technical—it’s about people, decisions, and resilience. The most valuable skill in the AI era won’t be how well you configure a tool, but how effectively you lead your team, navigate uncertainty, and drive meaningful change.

Why I Wrote This Book

This book is, in many ways, a culmination of my own journey. Over the past year, writing this newsletter has helped me sharpen my thinking, refine my writing, and distill complex ideas into actionable insights. I never set out to write a book, but the more I wrote, the more I realized that cybersecurity leadership needs a fresh perspective—one that isn’t just about frameworks and compliance but about real leadership in a world transformed by AI.

Some of my closest acquaintances knew about this project from the start. They saw me struggle through writer’s block, second-guess my work, and at times, question whether I should even finish it. Their encouragement kept me going, and for that, I’m incredibly grateful.
